FUCK!!!

Yup. That was a heart breaker. My palm might be broken from me open-fisting the wall. Whatever. Now, first off, let me say that yes, I am indeed a Lebron James fan. If that also makes me a Heat fan, then so be it. However, I'm not ignorant enough not to acknowledge another team's prowess. San Antonio played well tonight. They had huge contributions from Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, and Gary Neal. Parker was splendid and Duncan was effective. Great team and great coach. Gutsy shot by Parker. Overall, I felt like San Antonio played a very good game overall. They shot the ball well and moved it quickly. They didn't make some of their finishes, but that's to be expected as they aren't exactly an explosive attacking team.

On the other hand, while Miami was effective in some areas, such as shooting the 3, they played very stagnant in the 2nd half. Lebron, while registering a triple-double, needs to attack more. It doesn't matter if he misses tough finishes; he simply has to attack and put pressure on Leonard. I'm a huge Lebron fan, and I still realize that despite the triple-double, Lebron's game wasn't too great tonight. He seemed too passive, probably because he was trying very hard to get Wade and Bosh involved. It's a good strategy, but he still needs to realize when Bosh and Wade are ineffective, and start attacking during those moments. I expect a much more aggressive Lebron from here on out. He also had some key turnovers. Overall, Miami's offense seemed too passive in the 2nd half. No longer was the ball flowing crisply. Sure, the Spurs' defense tightened up. But still, watching the game, it looked as if Miami passed up a lot of open looks and potential drives to the hoop to try and find the best shot. Ball movement against the Spurs is vital. Over-thinking, however, is not. In the 2nd half, Miami was over thinking instead of playing ball.

Well, exciting game. I really wish I didn't watch it at my friend's house and get distracted by all the idiots who didn't care, but so be it. My parents were asleep and I couldn't slam on tables during the game and wake them up. I look forward to game 2. Should be a great and exciting series. Got work tomorrow, and to be honest, I'll be in a bad mood for a little bit.
