Lebron in 7

This is gonna be one of the great series of all time, and I’m not gonna front and say I’m the first one to come up with this conclusion.  But let’s take a moment to recognize some of these names that are competing tonight—Timmy Duncan (a scientist on the glass), Gay Allen, Manu, Tony pahhker, Lebron James… oh yeah… LBJ.  What validates a series as one of the greatest of all time is having the two best teams, evenly matched, put it all on the line as we get to witness (dare I say it) the greatest player of our era.  Steven A. Smith earlier today called Lebron “the greatest player on planet earth”, and you would have to be both naive and and jackass to even argue with this.  I guess you could be a pussy too, but that’s about it.  Firstly, Steven A. Smith is simply is the most articulate, most entertaining, and most accurate sportscaster today.  Secondly, Lebron is simply a machine—something the league has never seen before.  We like to hate him because he seems almost non-human, and he’s immature.  But he’s all grown up.  And to all the Kobe guys out there, I feel you.  I’m a big KB24 fan myself (was bigger before I went to LA and had to listen to those ignorant “sports fans”), but Lebron’s strength, size, work ethic, and overall prowess on both offense and defense always have been undeniable.  He’s a great teammate (which can’t be said of Kobe or MJ).  This basketball IQ is off the charts—he orchestrates all facets of the game.  And now a grown up Lebron has that Mamba mentality—that Mamba blood.  Same blood, different beast, fellas.  And when you have the greatest player in our era playing in the NBA Finals?  Come on.  Timmy Duncan, Pop, and the Tony will push Lebron to the limit, even further than the Pacers pushed him.  But in the end, the King will reign.  He is the King, after all.  I got $30 on this series, and mark my words—after this series is done, Lebron’s performance will solidify him as the greatest of our time, and seriously throw him in the conversation with the one and maybe-not-so-only Michael Jordan.  “Jordan’s iconic game 6 winner in 98”?  How do you like the sound of “Lebron’s momentous game 7 winner in 2013”?

Bold statements, I know, but it’s my first post so what he heck.  Hurry and jump on the bandwagon of Lebron gear now before it catches on.  That lion hat he wears in the commercial is top-notch; I’d go for that one.  Yup… you’re welcome.  You can thank me later.
